Of Local Interest
Mr. J. W. Sturton, Wakeman street, has returned from Nelson, where he represented Pahiatua at the recent Library conference. Miss Jean Donald, of Wanganui, is the guest of Miss Mary Paterson. Mr. J. Talmie, of Pahiatua, left yesterday for a holiday to be spent in Botorua. Mr. Buss Merrie is a visitor to Taupo. Mr. and Mys. J. Swanney, of Tyndall street, Pahiatua, left on Sunday on a motor tour of the Taupo and Botorua districts.
Mrs. T. J. and Miss J. Paget are at present spending a holiday in Wellington.
