The West Coast (N. 1.) Surf Life Sating Championships will be held at Castlecliff on Sunday next and, in this connection, a special excursion train will run from Palmerston North to Wanganui. The fares are remarkaujy cheap and, given fine weather, Castlecliff beach should present an animated scene. Excursions will also run from New Plymouth, Waitara and Opuhake for the event thus affording friends from north and south an opportunity to meet for an enjoyable outing.
