Week-end Sport at Feilding
RAIN CAUSES POSTPONEMENT The promise of improved weather conditions at Feilding for Saturday was not realised, and heavy rain throughout the morning obliged the cancellation of all summer sports fixtures. The cricketers were to have had a day on Kowhai Park with the object of inaugurating the campaign for funds for the new pavilion, this being the second unsuccessful attempt to float the venture. It is expected that the carnival arrangements will be held this week, and it is hoped that more settled weather will favour the arrangements.
