Dahlia Show

Residents of Palmerston North and the surrounding districts are reminded of the flower show to be held in the Empire Hall to-morrow. There is every prospect of a great display, dahlias predominating. Very attractive exhibits in the decorative and other sections will be seen. Doors open at 2 p.m., and the show Avill be formally opened by his Worship the Mayor, Mr A. E. Hansford, at 3 p.m. As this is the first show of the financial year (four shows are held during the year) it is an opportune time ,to enrol as a member. Tho annual subscription is a moderate one—gent (including a lady’s ticket) 5/-, lady 2/6—admitting to the four shows held during the year. The committee would be pleased to double the •membership—making it 500.
