Memorial to Clipper Crew
TROPHY FOR ANNUAL PRESENTATION Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. The form of the memorial to Captain Edwin Mustek and his six comp anions in the Samoan Clipper who perished in the disaster last month was provisionally arranged at a meeting of the special committee. The committee decided to call the memorial the Musick Memorial Tropliy, and it is proposed to award it for annual presentation to individuals, groups or bodies within the British Empire and the United States of America who make what during the year is the most valuable contribution toward the safety of life in the air and the most efficient working of aircraft, with especial regard to trans-oceanic flying. »♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦
