HOBART, Feb. 14. New Zealand representatives secured first and second places in the first heat of the 14-foot dinghy championship of Australia on the Derwent river this afternoon. Conditions were flukey. Vamp was first, smin 27sec ahead of Impudence, second. Third place was
filled by Myrtle (Western Australia), 4min 25sec. behind Impudence. White Wings (Victoria') was fourth. Windward (Western Australia), Triad (Victoria), Silvery Spray (South Australia), Volant (Victoria), Comedy (Western Australia), and Roxana (Victoria) finished in that order. The Albert Cup for 21-footers was won by Tassie 111, with Tassie IJ second and Rcyalist (Victoria) third.
