Tho N.G., Bro. L. Rees, presided over the regular meeting on Thursday. In vitations were received and accept© 1 from Oroua Lodge of Druids to a social function, and from Onward Tent Recha I bites to a social evening. Leave of absence was granted to several officer* ' and members from next meeting for the purpose of visiting Wanganui, to take part in a bowls tourney. Bro. A. Dawick, P.G., as master of Iprov. Lodge of Past Grands, reported that several officers had had conferred ion them Past Officers' Degrees. It was decided to present Bro. \V. R. Eyre, P.G., F.S., with a P.G.'s jewel in recognition of attaining P.G. rank, and also that his name be placed on tho merit board. A letter of congratulation on her marriage to a brother Oddfellow is to bo forwarded to a sister of the lodge. A committee meeting was held after the lodge meeting to arrange the programme for lodge meetings for the next quarter. When lodge closed, supper was enjoyed by all at the fireside. A ping pong tournament was also held, three tables being kept occupied with enthusiasm until a late hour.
