Magnolia Satin Chosen For Bride’s Gown

ARCHER—WILLIAMS me Seventh Day Adventist unuren was the scene of a very pretty evening recently when Ncraio. third daughter of Mr and Mrs E, P. Williams,, Charles street, Hastings, was married to Robert Wilkins, son of Mr and Mrs; B. Archer, Hiwinui, Bunnythorpe. Pastor W-gley officated at the ceremony, and Mrs Will presided at the organ. The church was artistically decor* ated by friends of the bride, the colour scheme of the bridal party, orange and green, being carried out in the decorations. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a trained gown of magnolia satin. Her beautiful veil of tulle and lace felj from a halo of pleated tulle and orange bossom to form a second train. Sne wore mesh satin shoes, and carried a bouquet of cream and gold flowers. Two maids and two little flower girls attended the bride. The bridesmaids, Miss Pat and Miss Reeve Williams, sisters of the bride, wore draped gowns of navora crepe in orange and green respectively. They wore velvet shoes to tone, circlets of flowers in their hair, and carried orange bouquets. The little flower girls, Lorna Davis and Annette Leeder, nieces of the bridegroom, looked very dainty in their period frocks of pale pirmrose, finished with rosebuds and matching head t-anos. They carried posies of pm rose-coloured flowers. Mr Bclk was best man, and Mr Wig* jins groomsman. After the ceremony the guests were entertained by Mr and Mrs Williams at their home in Charles street. When the bride and bridegroom left for a motor tour of the North Island, the bride was wearing a tailored costume of green, with beige lace blouse, green hat, shoes and accessories.
