The political correspondent of tho Australian Associated Press understands that the Imperial Conference Air Communications Committee hopes to reach agreement on June 7 in connection with the establishment of trans-Tasman and trans-Pacific Empire air services, in readiness to submit it to heads of the delegations for adoption, and only a few details remain to be settled, including the management of the trans-Tasman service, also finality regarding Honolulu as a base for the trans-Pacific route. Discussions have been based on the Wellington conference resolutions. The trans-Tasman and trans-Pacific shipping discussions are at last making progress, and there is now every hope for a satisfactory agreement being reached before the conclusion of the conference
