Marked Increase in Number of Births

PALMERSTON - -H STATISTICS FOR PAST TWELVE MONTHS

In the year ending March 31, there were 58 more births registered at the office of the registrar of births, deaths and marriages in Palmerston North than was tho ease in the corresponding pre\ious 12 months. The number of deaths registered was 19 more, marriage notices issued 30 more, and the number of marriages performed by the registrar four less.
