To Observe Eclipse
AMERICAN SCIENTISTS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyrigh t. SAN FRANCISCO, March 15. The scientists who will observe the forthcoming eclipse of the sun are to sail by the Mariposa on April 27 for Honolulu, and thence will go to Bucfergury Island, in the Phoenix group, on board the cutter Avccet. Dr. Samuel A. Mitchell, director ot McCormick Observatory, University of Virginia, will .direct tho expedition.
