Fire Disaster
JAPANESE COALMINE. TOKIO, March 16. Forty-one men were asphyxiated when fighting a fire in a coalmine at Osawa. The death-roll was increased owing to the driver of a rescuing motor-lorry being suffocated at the pit mouth, thus condemning the load of rescued men to the same fate.
