Funeral of the Late T. S. Manson

IMPRESSIVE CEREAIONY The funeral of the late Thomas S. Manson which took jfface at the Feilding cemetery yesterday afternoon was most impressive and was attended by a large number of friends and relatives testifying, tc the popularity of the de ceased with all sections of tho community. A service was conducted at the residence by Rev. A. L. Dixon, who also officiated at the graveside in conjunction with Major Bruce McLeod who conducted the returned soldiers’ burial service. . The pallbearers at the residence were Alessrs H. Hill, A. Adams, A. Codd, S. Scandlyn, F. Hill and J. Milligan, while at tho cemetery and graveside members of the R.S.A. comprising Alessrs M. Finlayson, H. Tollen. 11. T. Allen, F. G. Saunders, J. Campbell and A. H. Aletcalfe acted as pallbearers. A very large number of wreaths were received, including those from the president and members of the Feilding R.S.A., Awahuri Women’s Institute, president and members of the Rangitikei Club, Awahuri Alemorial Hall Committee, Waitohe School Committee and many others.
