HASTINGS SUB-ASSOCIATION From Our Own Correspondent. * NAPIER, March 17. The Hastings Cricket sub-Association met on Monday night when Afr A. D. Mahoney presided over a good attendance of delegates. Air L. J. Brabin wrote intimating that the Hastings Ganuet Cup players would have Easter Saturday free for the AI.C.C. v. New Zealand match at the Basin Reserve, Wellington. The meeting confirmed all arrangements made by the subcommittee in connection with the annual presentation of trophies to be held at the Oddfellows’ Hall on Friday, April 9. An effort is being made to arrango an Esk v. Hastings junior representative match at Easter in Hastings. Both games in the last round of the mid-week competition were declared as draws and the final series of matches will commence to-morrow. A vote of sympathy was passed to Afr L. J. Brabin in his mother’s illness. DRAW ANNOUNCED The following is the draw for the final series of matches in the mid-week and Saturday senior competitions commencing to-morrow and Saturday, Alarch 20, respectively.
