Palmerston North Horticultural Society
The monthly meeting of the Palmerston North Horticultural Society was , held in the Baptist School on Mbriday evening, when Mr. A. W. Just presided over a fair attendance. The topic was ** Chrysanthemums'* and was treated in a capable manner by Mr. F. J. Melhuish. On the motion of Mr. Mel bye, the speaker was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The monthly competition attracted ten entries. The winners weer: Mr. J. B. Morgan (nerines) 1, Mr. H. J. Ogier (carnations) 2, Mrs. D. James (hydrangeas) 3.
