Raumai Golf Club
The annual meeting of tho Raumai Golf Club was held at the clubhouse on Saturday, March 13, a good attendance of members being present to deal with the club business. TLe annual report was read and members expressed their appreciation of the successful year that the club had completed, the second since its inception. The balance-sheet showed the club’s finances to be in a very satisfactory position. The following officers were elected for the current year:—Patron, Air. R. MacDonald; president, Air. H. Smart; secretary, Air. L. H. Smart; assistant-secretary, Air. G. Bailey; committee, Messrs R. MacDonald, G. Bailey, K. Innes, D. Spelman, J. AlacDonald, H. B. Clapham; auditor, Mr* J. AlcDonell; greens committee, Messrs D. Spelman, G. Bailey, J. MacDonald, H. Fitz Herbert; club captain, ■ Mr. J. MacDonald; vice-captain, Air. H. B. Clapham. It was decided to hold the annual ball in June. The club has decided to open on Saturday, March 20. The links are in good order and a very successful season is assured.
