Pope’s First Engagement
United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyrlgrh t. VATICAN CITY, March 7. The Pope in his first public engagement since his illness, blessed the Golden Rose for the Queen of Italy. The ceremony lasted twelve minutes, after which a photograph of His Holiness and the prelates was taken.
