ROYAL CAMPAIGN AGAINST MAKEUP. A line on the new Queen’s attitude toward make-up may be got from the faet that when Duchess of York sho sponsored a campaign against hearc make-up. In this she was supported by the Duchess of Gloucester who herself uses very little make-up. So that last season In Court circles fashionable women used no eye make-up in the daytime, no rouge on the cheeks, and very little lipstick.
