To-day’s Recipe
WHOLEMEAL COOKIES (By Request.) Cream a third of a cupful of butter, and beat in the yolks of two eggs, tlireequartcrs of a cupful of milk and half a teaspoon of baking powder. Chop a cupful of raisins and a cupful of stoned dates, and add these to the mixture, together with two cupfuls of wholemeal, fiour, 1-3 cupful water. Alix all w'eli together and drop a heaped teaspoonful at a time on a greased baking sheet or on a tin covered with greaseproof paper. Bake in a fairly hot oven for 10 minutes.
