MABTON SALE. The N.Z. Farmers' Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., .report a yarding of 300 sheep, 30 cattle and 25 pigs at the above sale on Tuesday to a good attendance of buyers and others interested. The sheep entry comprised principally aged breeding ewes with lambs at foot. These realised 30s 6d. Fat b.f. 2-ths., 21s Cd; dairy cows at drop, £6 10s; fat cows, ex dairy, £2 16s, £3 10s to £3 15s; forward empty cows, £2 Ss; poor conditioned cows, 20s; fat p.A. heifers passed at £7 15s; best weaner pigs, ISs; good medium, 12s Gd to 15s. NORSEWOOD SALE. Messrs Williams and Kettle, Ltd., rejrt having held their fortnightly stock do on Monday, when they offered a .odium yarding of cattle and pigs to a jod attendance of the public. All lots f stock sold well and a total clearance as effected at the following rates: — Cattle: Fat Jersey cows, £3 10s to £4 10s; springing Jersey cows, £3 10s to £5; Jersey cow in milk, £2 16s to £3 10s. ing of all classes of dairy cattle and pigs at tho Norsewood sale on Monday, December 7. prices realising as under:— Fat cows and heifers, £3 15s, £4, £4 4s, £4 10s, £5 2s 6d to £5 12s; springing heifers, £3 15s, £4 to £4 12s 6d; dairycows, £3 10s, £4, £4 15s to £5 2s 6d; store cows, £2, £2 10s, £3 to £3 12s; yearling Jersey heifers, £3 5s to £4 2s 6d; yearling Jersey bulls, £4 4s to 51 guineas. Pigs: Light porkers, £1 5s 6d to £1 7s; slips. 18s 6d, £1 Is to £1 2s Gd; weaners, 13s 6d, 15s, 17s, 18s 6d to 19s.

WEEKLY SALE AT LEVIN. A large offering of pigs, together with medium entries of other classes of stock, came forward at the usual weekly stock sale which was conducted at the Levin saleyards on Tuesday, before the usual attendance of local and city buyers. All prices remained-firm on a par with late rates. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., quote the following range of prices:— 1 Pigs : Slips, 12s 6d; stores, 245, 26s Gd to 295; pork, light, 30s, 325, medium do 34s 6d, 35s to 39s 6d; heavy do, £2 to £2 7s; baconers, £2 10s, £2 15s to £3; choppers, 20s, 30s, £2 5s to £3 2s 6d; pedigree sows, £4; pedigree boar, 24 gns. Sheep: Fat lambs 23s 9d to 27s 3d; store ewes, 15s.

Cattle: Fat cows, light, £2 18s, £3 3s to £3 ss; medium, £3 10s to £3 17s 6d; heavy, £4 to £4 10s; extra heavy, £5, £5 2s 6d to £5 10s; prime extra heavy, £f £6 2s 6d to £6 12s 6d; vealers, light, 30s, 395; better sorts, £2 ss, £2 12s, £3 5s to £4 2s 6d; store cows, £2, £2 17s 6d to £3 2s 6d; yearling heifer 3, £3 0s 6d; potter bulls, £2 4s 6d to £4 10s.
