McMahon and Pluto To Fight Again

BOUT ARRANGED TOR TUESDAY NEXT.

Yesterday the Manawatu Boxing Association completed arrangements for

a return match between Pluto and McMahon, to take place in Palmerston North on Tuesday evening next. Both boxers are stated to be keen for the bout and to be entirely satisfied with the arrangements. Mr. A. Maxwell (Wellington) will be the referee. The Manawatu Boxing Association has paid out to Pluto his share of the purse in the previous contest.

WELLINGTON, Dec. 10.

Consideration was given by the New Zealand Boxing Council m Wellington last night to the incident which brought the recent boxing mated at Palmerston North between tne Australian welteiweight, Bill Pluto, and the Manawatu proressional, McMahon, to an early close, when Pluto was disquuliiied for striking the referee. It was decided not to further penalise Pluto, but to severely warn him that any repetition of such unseemly conduct in tne ring will bring about the immediate revoking of his boxing license. The council hau before it reports from the Manawatu Boxing Association, which conducted the match, the referee, Mr. Evans, and from Pluto.
