DEATH OF SECOND OF PAIR. NEW YORK, December 6. The death has occurred, from cerebrospinal meningitis, of Simplico Godino, ono of Siamese twins, who was separated from the other after the latter’s death.

By means of two unusual operations Simplico and Lucia Godinc, Sianicso twins, aged 28, were separated after Lucio’s death from rheumatic fover. The fact that they had eseparate circulatory systems encouraged the belief thpt Simplico would live. They also had separate nervous systems. An anaesthetic was unnecessary. One operation was necessary for the severance, while the other was a. plastic one.
