Fine Warm Days; Cool Nights Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. An anti-cyclone extends across the Tasman Sea on to the North Island but the pressure is still rather low in the far south. A cyclone appears to bo developing at present over northern New South Wales. Winds: B'etween north-west and south-west prevailing, force mainly moderate but freshening at times about and south of Cook Strait. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough on parts of the west coast south of Cape Egmont and in Foveaux Strait, otherwise slight to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: West to southwest winds light to moderate in the northern portion with slight to moderate seas; moderate to fresh with rather rough seas in the southern portion. Weather: Pino in most districts but some scattered rain still probable on the west coast and in the far southern portions of the South Island. Cool night but warm day temperatures.”
