On Thursday last it was reported to Constable Barrett, of Otaki, that a boat had been found at Otaki beach. It was at first thought to be a log, but on investigating no found it to be a boat 181't 6in long, 4ft 6in beam, flat bottomed, square stern, three seater with two sets of oars. The boat is painted green on the left side, is in fair condition and not water-logged. Up to the present there has been no claim as to its ownership.
