5 REFUSES TO STAY IN’ BED
United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Sunday, 8.10 p.m. ROME, Dec. 5. The Pope is indisposed and is suffering from gout. He has suspended immediate audiences, in his own words, “owing to local trouble." Received Sunday, 10.20 p.m. ROME, Dec. 6. The Pope has a slight temperature du* to an attack of asthma. It is feared influenza may interveno which with a weak heart would cause anxiety. The doctors declare the Pope is a bad patient and refuses to stay in bed.
