Canterbury Club
The committee of the Canterbury Club met on Wednesday night last to discuss and form rules for membership. It was proposed to call the club, “flic Canterbury Club of Alanawatu” as it is realised that a lot of ex-Canterbury residents reside ih the surrounding districts and it i 3 keenly desired that these residents be included in the Club. Two sub-committees were formed to complete arrangements for the official opening of the club on December IC, which is .the Anniversary Day of. Canterbury.. These committees are sparing no effort to make this function an outstanding success and expect art exCanterbury residents and members of the Canterbury llegiment who served in tho Great War to bo present,
