PRESIDENT’S HANDICAP WON BY KING’S GUIDE. HAMILTON, Dec.. 5. The weather was fine for tho Waikato Trotting Club’s meeting and the course was in good order. Results are as under: — INNOVATION HANDICAP, of £100; 3.5 class; miles.

7-7 NELSON’S GLORY, scr. (W. Dyer) .. 1 1-2 Swordsman, 84yds. (F. J. Smith) 2 6-4 Baby Triumph, scr. (R. B. Cleland) 3 Scratched: Rose Marble, Stalky. Won by half a length. Time, 3.42 1-5.

The winner paid over a score, but had Swordsman not broken near the post ho would have scored. PRESIDENT’S HANDICAP, of £325; 4.40 class; 2 miles.
