Killed by Case Blown off Lorry
•PURELY AN ACT OP GOD.” Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 3. At the inquest to-day on Robert Kennedy Ritchie, who was killed on the ilutt pipo bridge on Tuesday by a case weighing over a ton being blown off a lorry, tho Coroner (Mr. E. Gilbertson) said there had been an exceptionally strong wind. There was no evidence of carelessness on the part of the driver cither in loading or driving. It was purely an act of God. He was not satislied that there had been any necessity to tie down the load.
