Father Who Killed Mentally Deficient Son
DEATH SENTENCE COMMUTED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Tuesday, Midnight. PERTH, Nov. 17. The death sentenco on Michael O’Sullivan for the wilful murder of his seven-year-old son was to-day commuted to imprisonment for life. The evidence disclosed that O’Sullivan took the hoy out in a car and shot him because he was mentally deficient, incurable and a great strain upon his mother. He then brought the corpse back to the police station, and in great grief gave himself up.
