BULLS. Dalgety and Company Limited report on their fortnightly sale held last Monday, September 28, when good entries of all classes of stock with the exception of dairy cattle came to hand. We yarded 1,100 hoggets and report a total clearance at very satisfactory prices. There was a strong demand for pigs and keen competition for fat cattle. Association Ltd., report on Dannevirke sale, held on October 1, as under: — They offered a good yarding of all clases of sheep and cattle to a good attendance of local and outside buyers. Sheep sold well at late rates. Tho cattle yarded came forward in good condition and wero keenly competed for, enabling them to effect a total clearance. The offering Included a number of good quality lines of station cattle which met with good competition and rates ruling at other centres were fully maintained. There was a big attendance of buyers representing West Coast, Taranaki, Walrarapa, Northern Hawke’s Bay and local districts.
