Licensing of Service Cars
RENEWALS GRANTED BY AUTHORITY Mr P. Skoglund presided at a sitting of No. 2 Licensing Authority in Palmerston North yesterday. E. J. Murphy (Foxton) was granted a renewal of his Foxton-Levin service. J. E. Wrigley (Palmerston North) was granted a renewal for a service between Palmerston North and Masterton, with an amendment of the fares between Pakiatua and Woodville to 2s Gd and 4s (return). White Bus Services (A. G. Sanders, Dannevirke) received a renewal with minor amendments of the servico between Dannevirke Post Ofiico and Mangatera. W. G. V. Jones (Kimbolton) received a renewal of his license to operate between Kimbolton and Mangaweka. P. F. Watts (Levin) asked for a renewal of services from Levin to Palmerston North, and from Levin to Jlanukau South. These were granted. Authority to run from Levin to Waitarere beach was also renewed. J. S. Ballinger was granted a renewal of ihis Otaki-Beach service with slight amendment of time-table. It. A. Chey lie’s Apiti-Utuwai-Palmerston North license was renewed on condition ho submitted required statistical information. Renewals were also granted A. E. Prujean (Feilding-Apiti) and W. J. Garrick (Waituna-Feilding-Kimbolton).
