Eradicating Rabbits at King's Country Home
LONDON. Sept. 0. Efforts are being made at Fort Belvedere, the King’s country home near Sunningdalc, Berkshire, to rid the estate of rabbits, which havo become a plague to gardeners. Shortly after the King took over the property a rabbit-proof fence was built along the side of tho estate facing Windsor Great Park and the Ascot road. This is now being extended so that tho estate will be completely surrounded. In several places rabbits from Windsor Great Park and neighbouring woods have been able to burrow under the netting. These are being shot by men on the estate.
