Saturday’s Road Race
J. JAMIESON WINS IN FINE STYLE.
On Saturday afternoon the Counties’ Cash Cycling Club continued their Boucher Cup series with a race to Ashhurst and return, and a good number of riders faced the starter. The riding conditions were fairly good. The result was' as under:—■
J. Jamieson (2}min.), 43min. 45sec. 1 A. Meehan (smin.), 45min. lGsec. .. 2 R. Alexander (omin.), 45min. 18sec. 3 Also started: A. Ganderton (ljmin.), E. Pedley (24min.), P. Sheridan (2J min.), T. Jamieson (omin.). Next Saturday tho race will be to Sanson and return. Boucher Cup Points. The Boucher Cup points gained by each rider so far this season are as follow’s:— P. Sheridan 23, A. Meehan 25, R. Alexander 23, E. Pedley 17, A. Ganderton IG, J. Jamieson 15, G. Davis 12, J. Seclen 12, T. Jamieson 11, B. McBrearty 9, R. Meehan 3, J. Luxmoore 2, J. Burbery 1.
