British and Foreign Bible Society
Mrs. I’. Porter, organising secretary for the British and Foreign Bible Society, who has been in the Palmerston North district for the past throe weeks, is leaving shortly for Wellington. She has had great encouragement from all officers and collectors and feels very hopeful of a very successful campaign, which has just started aud will conclude ou October 2d in readiness for the annual meeting which will take place on October 30, details or winch will be fully advertised later. The secretary and treasurer of the Manawatu Auxiliary is Mr. A. J. Graham and the president is Rev. J. Hubbard, if.A., B.D.
