History was made at the Supreme Court in Auckland on Monday morning when a lady barrister, Miss Marion Hollway, appeared in an action for the first time. Miss Ilollway was the first of her sex to be admitted as a barrister in the Supreme Court in Auckland, and recently Miss Nelson, Samoa, was also admitted. Several other women have been admitted as solicitors.
