To-day’s Rugby Trial

To-day all roads will lead to Kugby park, where ono of the most attractive matches of the season will be staged, tho North v. South representative trial match. Teams representing bedding (North) and Palmerston North (South) will try conclusions. The rivalry between the two is very keen and both sides will bo all out to uphold the honour of their respective cities. Who can produce the best footballersr—Palmerston North or Feilding? That is tho question that will be settled at Rugby park to-day and will give the public an exhibition of tho code that promises fast, open, and spectacular football. Enthusiasts are advised to patronise this excellent match and see the keen competition that will take place for selection in the Manawatu team that will go south after the famous Ilanfurly Shield in August. Manawatu have players who can hold their own with any other province in New Zealand, and their chances of returning with tho shield are the best for mary a long year.
