PRESENTATION TO AIRS. J. H.

ALLEN,

During the proceedings connected with the inspirational rally held at the Feilding Alethodist Church ou Thursday evening, the opportunity was taken to mark the appreciation of tho congre; gation of tho work of Airs J. H. Allebj wife of tho minister.

Mrs C. E. Taylor referred to the wonderful work done by tho church enthusiasts, but there was one who had worked harder thau all and who had borne a largo responsibility on her shoulders. This was Airs Allen, said the speaker, and in recognition of that work Airs Taylor asked her to accept a small present as a token of love and gratitude from tho ladies of the church. Airs Allen, in accepting a beautiful vase, said that she really felt she had done no more than any other member of the church and much of the success was duo to tho capable ladies’ committee, which had bceu responsible for many of the arrangements. “I will never forget this wonderful happy jubilee,” Airs Allen feelingly said, in concluding her thanks. Airs W. Cock was also paid a glowing tribute for 'Her artistic work with tho jubilee cake and which had been so admired.

Tribute was also paid to Airs F. J. Jones for her services in connection with the pleasing arrangements of the flower and foliago decoration in the Tivoli t thcalro and the church.
