PALMERSTON NORTH V. SHANNON. The team to represent the Palmerston North Golf Club to play the Shannon Golf Club at Shannon tomorrow is as follows: —J. Ramsay, C. J. Walsh, F. C. Bryan, H. Dickel, JTucker, V. Marquis, D. Everess, C. D. Fraser, J. J. Kells, H. Smith, H. Mullaney, J. G. Lockwood, Vernon, Dawkins, C. J. Ball. Players arc requested to assemble at the post office not later than 12.30.
A Canadian foursome has been arranged over nine holes for Sunday afternoon. A small entrance fee is requested ■ to subsidise establishment funds. AERO CLUB. The following are the results of the fourth round of the Rosco cup competitions: — Ladies: Miss Gaustad, 11G—30 —SO; Mrs Walker, 115—33—82; Mrs Hancox, 112 —28 —84; Mrs Goodwin, 120 —30 — 00. Men: Heggie, 83—18—05; Palmer, 87—18—09; Stiles, 92—20—72; Stallard, 59—14—75; Hancox, 101 —20—75; Child, 99—22—77; Low, 100—2S—7S; Rainforth, .102—24—78; Godfrey, 91— 12—79;/'Robson, 101—22—79; Godfrey, 91—12—79; Robson, 101—22—79; Thorburn, 105 —24 —SI; Richards, 108—20 —B2. The points to date in connection with those competitions are:— Ladies: Mrs Hancox 9, Mrs Walker 6, Miss Gaustad 0, Mrs Goodwin 3. Men: Palmer 74, Stallard 4, Heggie 3, Godfrey 24, Stiles 24, Richards 24, Low 2. On Tuesday, the King’s Birthday, the club is holding its annual tournament at the Awapuni links. In the morning at 9.15 sharp, stroke competitions for both ladies and men will be held, and at 1 p.m. there will bo a mixed foursomes competition. In the past this tournament has been a most enjoyable one and members are urged to attend, 60 as to ensure another successful day. MANAWATU CLUB. The June bogey handicap will be played at Hokowhitu to-morrow afternoon, starting at the first and eleventh tees from 12.30 o’clock. An inter-club match between Alanawatu and Feilding golf clubs will be played at Feilding during the week-end. The Manawatu team will includo the following players, with several vacancies still to bo filled: —S. W. Raplcy, E. R. Chapman, J. F. Rodden, J. E. Lewis, John Miller, N. H. Sinclair, A J. M. Goodwin, T. Rapley, W. f. Duckw r orth, J. R. Penny, A. M. Johns.’
