AUSTRALIANS MYSTIFIED. CRAWFORD “SEEDED” OUT IN SINGLES United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph.— Copyright. LONDON, June 17. “Docs not read sense” is how Australian quarters sum up Crawford’s “seeding” out in the Wimbledon singles. They emphasise that the American form showed he was obviously superior to Allison. Australians are also mystified to find Quist and Allison ranked above Budge. Critics analysing the draw foresee Perry and Cramni in the final and express the opinion that the semi-final-ists will be Perry, Budge, Austin and Cramni.
