Cost of Ambulance Service
KIWITEA COUNTY ENQUIRES. The cost of the ambulance services of the Palmerston North Hospital Board was the subject of a resolution carried at yesterday’s meeting of the Kiwitea County Couueil.
Councillor J. 11. Williamson moved that the Palmerston North Hospital Board be requested to supply the following information: —
(1) Tho running and maintenance cost of the board’s ambulances over the last three years. (2) The amount paid by patients in ambulance fees over the past three years.
(3) The amount outstanding for ambulance fees over the past three years. (4) An estimate of the cost of running the ambulances for the current year.
The motion was seconded by Cr. W. Hair and carried.
