District Miniature Rifle Shoot

GATHERING AT FEILDING.

Miniature Rifle Club members over a wide area assembled at the Drill Hall, Feilding, ou Wednesday night to take part in the competitions for the Jones and Collinson Shields. Tho visiting team from Aokautero was successful in both competitions. Mr. A. K. Drew, of Sanson, president of the Manawatu Miniature Rifle Clubs ’ Association, in presenting tho trophies to the winning teams, stated that it gave him great pleasure to have the opportunity of performing such a duty. On behalf of the association Mr. Drew thanked tho Feilding Club for tho fine method in which the arrangements hau been carried out, and for the splendid range which had been put at their disposal. Ho congratulated tho teams on their performance and formally handed over the trophies. Mr. L. Hastio, acting on behalf of the Aokautero Club, accepted the shields from Mr. Drew and suitably replied.
