Sweden’s Bigger Defence Vote
CAUSES GOVERNMENT’S RESIGNATION. STOCKHOLM, June 15. The Swedish Government has resigned owing to Parliament’s decision to spend more on defence. The present Swedish Cabinet (Socialist), with Mr. P. A. Hanson as Prime Minister, came into office iu September, 1932. The defence vote for tho Budget year ended June 30, 1935, was 111,804,500 kronor, out of a total expenditure of 1,106,356,000 kronor.
