Monday Next Pension Pay-out Day
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The paying-out day of the State pensions falls this month on Tuesday, June 23 which being King’s Birthday is a public holiday. The Minister of Pensions (Hon. W. L. Parry) stated tonight that arrangements had been made for State pensioners to receive the amounts to which they were entitled on Monday, June 22. “This concession made possible by the pensions authorities,” said Mr. Parry, “will be, 1 know, warmly appreciated by pensioners.”
