IMPRESSIONS OF AN AUSTRALIAN United Press Association—By ISlectrla Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Tuesday, 8 p.m. NEW YORK, June 15. Mr. Bcarup, a member of the Australian Broadcasting Commission, following a study of American conditions, informed the Australian Associated Press that three aspects of broadcasting in the United Elates were particularly impressive, namely, the unremitting effort to make educational programmes, and even charitable appeals and entertainment the iirst care; the expense lavished on acoustical facilities at studios and finally the high technical proficiency of broadcasting transmission. Following a fortnight’s stay in New York Mr. Bcarup will proceed to Europe and continue his inquiries.
