County councils, sports association* and other organisations of all kinds in the Poverty Bay, East Coast, and Bay of Plenty districts are to be approached with a view to the institution of a memorial to the public services of the late Mr. K. S. Williams, whose death occurred in November last, on the eve of the general elections. The Returned Soldiers’ Association in the three districts will sponsor the movement in the first instance. ,
