Tho Now Zealand Farmers’ Co-op Distributing Co. Ltd., report a yarding of *ISOO sheep and 70 cattle at the above sale on Wednesday. There was a good attendance and a firm demand al! through for all classes of sheep; with the exception of two small pens the whole yarding was disposed of under the hammer.
We quote:—Good 2-th ewes 33s Id to 33s sd; medium ditto to 20s 3d; good in.a. ewes with a fair proportion young ewes'2Cs lOd to 295; 5-yr. ewes 10s 3d to 20s lOd; S.M. ewes in good condition 10s Cd to 17s Od; best ewe lambs 22s to 2-ls sd; medium ditto 10s to 20s Id; smaller lots to 10s; forward b.f. lambs to 17s lOd; best w.f.w. lambs IGs -Id to 17s 3d; medium lambs 12s to 14s; small tail and lots 9s to 11s 3d; 1-shear S.D. itmrs'to"3i' gns; aged ditto from 1 gn. upwards; 1-shear Komuey ditto to 3 grt|3;, aged ditto 1 gn. Prime P.A. cows £7; ditto ex dairy £3 12s to £4; lighter sorts £2 4s; Wean or pigs 0s Od to Bs.
