MR. C. C. SMYTH’S GOOD WORK. Mr J. Judd, a member of tho Athletic Football Club, addressed Friday evening’s meeting on the good work done in the past for the club by the popular president, Mr C. C. Smyth. He said that they should consider themselves fortunate indeed in having the services of a president whose every aim was directed in tho interests of the club as a whole. Tho meeting heartily endorsed Mr Judd’s remarks and a motion of appreciation of his services was passed. Mr Smyth, in a few words, thanked the club for the expression of appreciation and said ho would continue, as in the past, to do his best for the Athletic Club.
