Masterton Sale

Messrs. Wright, Stephenson aud Co. Ltd., report We held our weekly sate, when in addition to a good entry of sheep, we offered a big yarding of cattle. The eutry attracted a large attendance and we have to report a very good sale. Our entry comprised 384 sheep and 3SI cattle and with the exception of one or two pens, we made a total clearaucc under the hammer at very satisfactory prices. Sheep maintained late rates and cattle met with very spirited competition. Good steers were in great demand. Store cows sold well and made values practically on a par with fats. Good station heifer linos also met with spirited bidding. Fats were up to late rates. Following are the realisations:—
