Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report an average yarding of both sheep and cattle at their fortnightly Ashhurst sale. The demand for both beef and paddock cows was sound with values ruling on a par with other markets. Dalgety. and Company Limited report on the Ashhurst Sale held on Wednesday 25th instant, when a good yarding of both sheep and cattlo came forward. In the sheep section, which comprised mainly lambs, sold very well under good competition. Several pens of

weancr Jersey heifers were yarded and sold freely to a keen local demand. Fat cattle maintained late prices.
