Somerset County cricket committee suggest that Harold Gimblett, the scorer of the quickest hundred last summer, should become the county’s No. 3 batsman now that Jack Lee has been appointed coach at Mill Hill School. For the first time for many years the county’s financial position shows a credit. The deficit of £2437 in 1931 has been turned into a credit balance.
